Key Features
Strengthened Design
No additional rafters are required for our roof lanterns. They require no additional support, making this one of the more robust lanterns on the market. This sturdy structure can bolster up to 350kg of weight over a 100 x 100cm area.
Quick Installation
A simplistic design, along with comprehensive instructions, means that our Korniche roof lanterns can be installed in a matter of minutes. For individual fitters, it’s never been easier to tackle your project with these quick to install lanterns.
Thermally Broken
The structure of the Korniche roof lantern is thermally broken. Heat transfer is rapidly reduced through the outer aluminium to the inner frame connection. With this, the customer gets all the benefits of durable aluminium without any loss of heat.
Reduced Sightlines
There are no visible fixings, with seamless joints throughout. This paves the way for a minimalistic roof lantern design that the homeowner can be proud to show off. A die cast end cap is fitted at the end of spas, which means the roof lantern is great to look at from every angle.

FAQs
Do Kornice roof lanterns come with a warranty?
Yes. There is a ten year warranty for all Korniche roof lanterns in a non marine environment.
Why trade with UPVC online?
Your experience with us will be much more personal than other traders you’ll find elsewhere. We have wide experience as installers and fitters and work with individual fitters too to provide them with the best advice available. We offer competitive pricing and can deliver nationally.
What are the advantages of thermal breaking?
Aluminium conducts heat. With the polyamide sections contained inside the structure, the thermal bridge is stopped. Essentially there is less heat transfer, which offers greater thermal efficiency than roof lanterns that are not thermally broken.
Do you have any surveying guidance?
We recommend that when you specify the dimensions of your roof lantern, you provide the external dimensions of the fitted waterproof membrane.
You should also increase the size of the lantern by 12mm in both length and width which will give you a 6mm overhang all around.
Can I install the roof lantern myself?
If you are a DIY customer, the Korniche roof lantern has been designed to be easily installed. Specialist tools aren’t required, and there is only one way that everything combines.
